It was the hottest and sunniest day in August, which is unusual here in the UK for a bank holiday, but Kelsie & Chris picked a scorcher of a day to tie the knot at the gorgeous Combermere Abbey, on the outskirts of Whitchurch, Shropshire.
The day started with Kelsie and her brides maids getting ready at her mums house in Crewe, before setting off in a vintage limo!
After getting pics of the girls, I headed over to the venue to meet up with Chris and the boys to get some fun shots before the guests started to arrive. Combermere is bursting with places to get some great photos, so we all headed down to the cottages for their group shots.
They decided to have their wedding ceremony outside, in front of the glass house and, although looking slightly nervous to begin with, the formalities were soon under way.
After we had done the group and family pics, I managed to spend a bit of time with the new Mr & Mrs, before their wedding breakfast, and we were able to get some lovely shots in the grounds of the walled gardens.
Shortly before sunset, we got all the brides maids and grooms men together for some fun shots with coloured smoke flares! We were also able to head down to the mere where the light was just perfect for some more pics, before they went back to greet their evening guests and party well into the night.
Here are the highlights from what was a very enjoyable and fun filled day……
